U2 Tour Manager Found Dead in L.A. Hotel Room

Dennis Sheehan, U2’s longtime tour manager, was found dead this morning inside his room at L.A.’s Sunset Marquis Hotel. According to TMZ, Sheehan was discovered unconscious in his room; after paramedics were called around 5:30 a.m. with reports of a cardiac arrest, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheehan, who was believed to be in his late sixties, had been the band’s tour manager for more than 30 years. His passing came just hours after U2 performed its first of five scheduled concerts at The Forum in L.A. He’d also worked with Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, and Iggy Pop…
