A Kenyan lawyer identified only as Kiprono has been faithful to Malia Obama since 2008, even though he’s never met her. So smitten is Kiprono with President Obama’s oldest daughter that he is offering the First Family 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats in exchange for her hand in marriage. “If my request is granted, I will not resort to the cliché of popping champagne,“ Kiprono tells The Nairobian. “Instead, I will surprise her with mursik, the traditional Kalenjin sour milk. As an indication that she is my queen, I will tie sinendet, which is a sacred plant, around her head,” he said.
