Mariah Carey will return to the Billboard Music Awards’ stage for the first time in 17 years, the Associated Press reports. The announcement of Mariah’s performance at this year’s show was made today by Billboard and Dick Clark Productions, but producers would not say what song Mariah’s planning to sing at the May 17 event. She joins such previously announced performers as Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea, and Van Halen.
