DP2 THUMBNAIL

Your Quick & Simple Review: “Deadpool 2”

The merc with a mouth, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), is back and forms a team called the X-Force to protect a young mutant, Russell (Julian Dennison) from the time traveling soldier, Cable (Josh Brolin).

When it comes to sequels, you tend to hope that they’ll be as good, if not better than the first film.  Fortunately, Deadpool 2 was exactly that.  Granted, for me, a lil bit of the unexpected outrageousness was diminished a tad bit after the first film, because now you know what you’re gonna get.  So that shock, of the things he says, wasn’t there this time.  However, the no holds barred jokes were hilarious and it seemed like nothing was off limits.

I think fans of the first film are gonna be completely satisfied with this new film, and if you’re a pop culture fan too, you’ll be in for a nice treat.  Speaking of treats, there weren’t many, but the cameo surprises were pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.

This still maybe a film not suited for kids, even though it doesn’t have any scenes that you would want to hide your child’s eye’s from, but it’s still violent and has plenty of vulgar language… So you’ve been warned.  However, this is still a funny as hell movie filled with lots of great action that makes Deadpool 2A Must See Movie.
