THE JUNGLE BOOK: This is probably the best cartoon to live action films to come out. Director Jon Favreau created an amazing CG (Computer Generated) world with a just as amazing cast to bring this classic to life. Led by new comer Neel Sethi this one is one to check out this weekend. Even if you don’t have kids to take with you, it will be well worth it.
BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT: After 12 years Calvin (Ice Cube) and his crew are back. Still having a great time and some great conversations all while trying to save their neighborhood. Now teamed up with Angie’s (Regina Hall) beauty salon, the once male dominated shop talk has become a He vs She gab fest that had me laughing almost the whole way through. And I think fans of the series will like it too.
CRIMINAL: With a cast of great actors you would think this one would be better than it was… But it wasn’t. The story was not very interesting, even though it started off well, but it quickly faded. I was actually hoping for this one to be better because I like Kevin Costner, but it was just hard to actually believe him as a ruthless killer.
