Update: NFL Hands Down “Deflategate” Penalties

Less than a week after it was revealed that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady likely knew the balls were deflated in last year’s AFC championship game, the NFL has announced that he has been suspended without pay for the first four games of next season. Meanwhile, the Patriots will be fined $1 million AND must forfeit both a 2016 first-round and 2017 fourth-round selection in the NFL draft. Brady, who is expected to appeal the decision, will be allowed to participate in training camp and other activities, including preseason games…
