Don Henley: Not A “Jukebox”

Eagles frontman Don Henley has shared more details about his upcoming solo country album, telling Billboard, “I do not want to spend the rest of my life being a jukebox.” Speaking at a listening party for the album last week, Henley went on to explain, “I love my career in the Eagles, but I need some new material.” Titled Cass County, the project will feature Merle Haggard, Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack and Ashley Monroe. Henley’s last solo album, Inside Job, peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200 in 2000.
