Former 19 Kids and Counting star and admitted child molester Josh Duggar is among the thousands of names to surface following Tuesday’s release of hacked data from the extramarital affair website AshleyMadison. Entertainment Tonight reports that someone used a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar and spent nearly $1,000 on not one, but two AshleyMadison subscriptions from February 2013 to May 2015. And the billing address on the first account matches a home belonging to Duggar’s grandmother. According to the data, Duggar was looking for one-night stands, extended foreplay/teasing and experimentation with sex toys, among other things.
Now, in new developments just breaking, Duggar has released a statement, in which he admits to cheating on his wife. “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” Duggar writes. “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife. I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living…I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old, and now I have re-broken their trust…I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.”
