Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle plead guilty today to distributing and receiving child pornography, as well as engaging in “unlawful commercial sexual acts with minors,“ and is expected to be sentenced to between five and 12 years in prison. According to a plea agreement released by the U.S. Attorney of the Southern District of Indiana, Fogle paid for sex with minors while staying at upscale hotels in New York City, and received explicit images of children as young as 6 from the former head of his foundation, who’s also been jailed on similar charges. Following a raid of his home by federal agents in July, Subway cut ties with Fogle, who lost some 200 pounds by eating exclusively at the sandwich chain.
