Marcus and Markieff Morris, the twin brothers who both play basketball locally for the Phoenix Suns, each pled not guilty to two counts of felony aggravated assault in court yesterday. The two stand accused of helping to beat up 36-year-old Erik Hood outside a Phoenix recreation center this past January. Hood, who claims he was assaulted by five people, sustained abrasions, a fractured nose and a large contusion on his head. The Morris twins, who became NBA teammates when Marcus was traded to the Suns in 2013, are next due to appear in court on June 30, and we’ll keep you up to date as this case moves forward…
