Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed a baby girl–just this morning given the name Charlotte Elizabeth Diana–this past Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. The princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerged with their sleeping newborn later that day, and smiled at fans and reporters before driving off to Kensington Palace to reunite with their 1-year-old son George. The palace has since released a statement saying the couple are “hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations.“ Additionally, Prince Harry gushed that his new niece is “absolutely beautiful.“

Seriously, how did Kate appear in public 10 hours after giving birth looking so gorgeous? And wearing heels?! And furthermore, how did she manage to give birth using midwives, but without the use of an epidural? Some would say she’s just too perfect…not us, but some! 🙂
