Frank Gifford, Pro Football Hall of Famer, veteran sports journalist and husband of TODAY co-anchor Kathie Lee Gifford, died of natural causes at his Connecticut home YESTERDAY morning. He was 84. Born in Santa Monica, California, in 1930, Gifford attended the University of Southern California on a football scholarship and went on to play with the New York Giants his entire NFL career, from 1952 to 1964.
