Starting next week, “Oreo Thins“ will become a permanent fixture in American grocery stores. While the new cookies have the same cream to wafer ratio, MTV notes that they’re 7.5 millimeters thick, as opposed to the 12.5 mm of a regular Oreo. As a result, they’re also slightly less caloric, and are targeted at a more “sophisticated“ demographic, a company spokesperson tells the AP. Meanwhile, an MTV reviewer writes, “The only downside? It’s a little harder to twist off the top cookie and then lick out the cream, mostly because I was shoving these in my mouth so quickly”…
