NFL To Tom Brady: Deflategate Means 25% Less Season For You

In a move sure to trigger lawsuits, league commissioner Roger Goodell has decided not to reduce the four-game suspension meted out against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his role in deflating footballs during last year’s AFC Championship Game. Central to the upholding of the suspension–which is the same penalty Dallas Cowboy Greg Hardy will serve for domestic violence, to put things in perspective–was Brady’s alleged decision to destroy his cell phone, which the league feels could have contained key evidence regarding his communication with Patriot equipment personnel who deflated the game balls.

Meanwhile, on Facebook this morning, Brady vehemently denied the league’s claims, writing, “I replaced my broken Samsung phone with a new iPhone 6 AFTER my attorneys made it clear to the NFL that my actual phone device would not be subjected to investigation under ANY circumstances“…
