Jon Stewart’s Last “The Daily Show”

Jon Stewart said an emotional goodbye last night after 16 years on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Former correspondents John Oliver, Ed Helms, Steve Carrell, and Olivia Munn were among those that returned for Stewart’s finale. But, it was Stephen Colbert going off script to thank Stewart for touching so many lives that made the host choke up. “You are infuriatingly good at your job,“ Colbert told him. The episode also featured videotaped farewells from Hillary Clinton, John McCain and Bill O’Reilly, who called him a “quitter.“

Later, Stewart teared up for the second time when introducing one of his favorite musical acts, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, for a performance of “Land of Hopes and Dreams“ and “Born to Run“…
