This holiday season, Amy (Mila Kunis), Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn) rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. As if creating the perfect holiday for their families isn’t hard enough, they’ll have to do it while hosting and entertaining their own respective mothers when they come to visit.
Granted I may not be the target audience for this movie, however, I still thought it was pretty damn funny. Personally, I’m a fan a raunchy and stupid humor and this one was filled with it. I think the only downside to it was that, as opposed to the first film, you knew exactly what you were getting. So that kinda took away from the surprise of how raunchy it would be.
With the addition of three new cast members, Susan Sarandon, Christine Baranski and Cheryl Hines, the humor level was raised. But I still think Kathryn Hahn is the best of the three main characters. With Christine Baranski was a close second.
