Southpaw: Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whiter and Rachel McAdams. This is a good movie but not a “Must See” or “Skip It” type of film. If you have time to check it out, I don’t think you’ll be dissappointed but I also dont think you’re going to be saying you saw the greatest movie of all time either. Jake and Forest put on great performances, as always, unfortunatley the story is lacking here and there which keeps it from being as good as it could have been.
Pixels: Starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan and Peter Dinklage. As much as I like Adam Sandler he’s fallen flat again. When I first saw the trailer for this I actually thought this was gonna a be a good movie, but after the first few minutes, and seeing all the special efx for the first time, the story takes a nose dive. Adam has the same performance he has in pretty much every film he’s in, Kevin James didn’t add anything either. If it weren’t for Josh Gad and Peter Dinklage Pixels wouldnt have anything worth watching.
Paper Towns: Starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne. The one movie I didn’t see already, so I can’t say more than it’s out this weekend. LoL
